Visual meditation on timeless cycle. Ancestral symbols combine with contemporary musings, layering art and science onto an 8’ x 24’ mural. Sunlight brilliantly shows the mural’s pure-color inks (cyan, magenta, yellow) on a bright-white background. Nighttime is flooded with alternating red, green, and blue flood lights, layered images morph and coalesce into one another. Images comes alive with motion atop brightly-lit background color.
Light and color theory drive the process. The three pure-color inks (cyan, magenta, yellow) visibly change depending on which color of light is being used. In white light, all three inks are visible as color. But in red light, for example, cyan appears black, while magenta and yellow nearly disappear.
